Support for your child’s education
St James Residential College has a strong
working relationship with Central Midlands Senior High School. Staff at the college are kept informed as to each
students progress and teachers from the school provide tutoring support
for each year group one night per week during study time. Students are
set 1½ hours study per night 5 nights a week and have access to the
school library as well as fully networked with the school computers at
the college.
Parent Satisfaction Survey
The CHSHA surveys parents biannually to gauge the
degree to which they are satisfied with the service being provided by
their college. In the 2006 survey conducted recently St James received
a strong vote of confidence from the families who make use of the
facility. Over 93% gave the college an overall rating of good or better
and 100% rated the college as satisfactory. Compared with the other
CHSHA colleges, St James bettered the average on 8 of the 9 categories
surveyed and received a “High Quality” rating Overall as well as for
the three individual categories of Food, Parent/Staff communication and
Appearance of the College.
